to say that the sheer number of talented people on deviantart astounds me would be....pretty idiotic. nevertheless, i'm in awe of the amazing and utterly gorgeous work that i stumble on every day that i sign on this thing. part of me is inspired to pick up my camera (or look into one of those professional sorts) and start shooting (well, signing up for a class first)...and part of me (make that, MOST) is intimidated by the mediocre state of mind i have. i feel like salieri witnessing mozart for the first time (though, i'm honestly not driven to such motives of deep enmity). do you craft talent? or is it inborn? i wish i had the gift that so many deviants have, to capture life in a photograph, or to imagine it in a graphic or painting, or sketch for that matter. guess i'll have to start working on practicing huh?
